December has a way of showing you what actually counts. This year was busy in all the right ways—full of movement, responsibility, love, and progress, even when there wasn’t much downtime to speak of.

Marysol spent a couple of weeks in Colombia visiting family and handling important matters that needed her full attention. It wasn’t a vacation by any stretch—more purpose than pause—but it was meaningful and necessary. Family time, responsibilities handled, and boxes checked that needed checking. Sometimes that’s what growth looks like.

Back home, I held down the fort—house, dog, cats, routines, and everything in between. Quiet in its own way, but steady. There’s value in that kind of consistency, even when the days blend together.

Coming Back Together

When Marysol returned, it felt like the season truly arrived. Reuniting after time apart always brings perspective—and gratitude. On Christmas Eve, we leaned into tradition and comfort, enjoying dinner at our favorite Italian spot, Brandywine. Good food, familiar flavors, and the kind of atmosphere that makes time slow down just enough.

A few days earlier, we picked out and decorated what is, without exaggeration, the most beautiful Christmas tree I’ve ever seen. The house feels festive, warm, and completely us. Every light, ornament, and detail feels intentional—not overdone, just right.

Making Home Feel Even More Like Home

As the year wrapped up, we added pieces that reflect where we are in life now. Rustic Adirondack-style island bar stools—solid, timeless, built to last. Functional, but with character.

And on the way: our newest investment in ourselves—an infrared sauna. Not a luxury, but a choice. A tool for health, recovery, and longevity. For middle age especially, it checks all the boxes: joint relief, reduced inflammation, skin health, cardiovascular support, and stress reduction. The list of benefits is long, but the goal is simple—feel better, move better, live better.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we step into the new year, the focus is clear:

  • Continued homestead improvements and thoughtful upgrades
  • More calm, less chaos
  • Prioritizing health—physical and mental
  • Time with each other, family, and close friends
  • Stability in finances, health, and love

Not chasing noise. Building a life that feels grounded and sustainable.

To our friends, family, and clients—thank you for being part of our year. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with health, peace, progress, and meaningful moments.

Here’s to moving forward steady, grateful, and aligned.
