This 16×20 colored pencil classic “red barn” art was completed on January 23, 2023. There was a lot of focus given to the shading and shadows, specifically the shadow of the top extended window roof casting a shadow on the silo behind it.
Throughout my life I have worked on farms and my explorations as a child involved playing and being around a lot of old barns. There are so many stories inside and outside old barns. Hopefully this piece of art causes you to remember some of your own memories in and around old barns from your younger days.
